Sometimes, as per client requests, the factory may add tapioca starch or corn starch to enhance the gelatinous and chewy texture or improve the transparency of the noodles.
- Rice Sticks (Rice Noodles): depend on the different usage purposes, Rice & More divides Rice Sticks into three types:

- Pad Thai or Jantaboon: large width (10mm)
- Banh Pho: medium width, a main ingredient to make a traditional food of Vietnam named Phở (5mm)
